The churchyard at All Saints in Glossop is reputed to be haunted by a spectral figure known as the Grey Lady—though some accounts claim she is dressed in brown. Said to be the vicar’s wife who murdered her husband, her restless spirit is believed to walk the grounds. The former vicarage is also reportedly haunted, though it may be by a different ghost altogether.
