Bleaklow Farm, Longstone Edge

Bleaklow Farm, a lonely house on Longstone Edge, is said to be haunted by multiple ghosts. One Christmas Eve, Mr. F. A. Radford claimed to see a spectral re-enactment of a long-ago murder when a housekeeper was chased and drowned by her master. Guests reported a shadow bending over sleeping children and heard cries from the trees, thought to be those of a buried child. On another night, a clock and ornaments were mysteriously swept aside, only to be found restored by morning.
