Plas Mawr, Conwy

Plas Mawr, an Elizabethan townhouse completed in 1595 for Robert Wynne, is said to be haunted following a tragedy involving a returning master, his wife, and their son. After the wife and child died in a fall, a doctor named Dic was summoned but vanished, supposedly up the chimney. The master died soon after, and his ghost is said to roam the house seeking the lost doctor, whose burial is believed to be the key to peace.
