Poplar Farm Inn, Abbotts Ann

Witnesses report the vague shape of a female figure gliding up the stairs, accompanied by irregular footsteps that increased after the Bowyers moved in during 1970. Footsteps have been heard climbing the stairs and doors have closed by themselves, though no one was near. Guests occasionally remark on the sounds, while staff say they are gradually getting used to them.
