The Vicarage, St Peter’s Church, Stockport

The Georgian vicarage once adjoining St Peter's Church was said to be haunted “to the extent of ghost actually chasing ghost.” Visitors frequently reported strange happenings, and the house gained a reputation for eerie activity. While some spoke of multiple apparitions, the vicar’s wife, Mrs. Norman McGee, offered a calmer account, saying only that “odd things happen.”
