In the early 1990s, Colin Jones and his partner experienced violent disturbances at their home, Rosedale, in Bosley. Whirlwinds tore through rooms, objects were thrown, and the couple were even lifted from the ground. Colin claimed to have spoken with a former resident about the haunting before calling for help from the vicar of Wincle, who brought a Church of England exorcist to cleanse the house.
