The Bulls Head, Macclesfield

Macclesfield’s oldest coach house, the Bull’s Head, was said to be haunted by two spirits: a former cellarman and a mysterious lady in a cape and hood. Previous landlords have reported seeing the woman walk through solid walls, while a resident claimed she repeatedly unplugged his stereo. The pub’s upper rooms, once part of its 19-bedroom hotel, are also reputed to be haunted.
