The Carter of Snake Pass, Bamford

While riding his motorcycle on the Bamford road near the Snake Pass, a man from Rotherham saw a horse and cart with a driver in old-fashioned clothes. After dimming his headlight for an oncoming car, he found the cart, horse, and man had vanished without a trace, leaving no sign on the empty road.
