Hatters Arms, Marple

The Hatters Arms on Church Lane has a reputation for strange activity dating back to the 1950s, when Ernest and Sarah Davies were landlords. Sarah later recalled that during her husband’s time, doors would open on their own and lights switched on and off without reason. She remained convinced that something unseen lingered in the building.
