Otten Penna Solicitors, Northenden

In 1996, staff at a solicitors’ office on Palatine Road, Northenden, reported a series of disturbances culminating in the sighting of a white-shrouded figure beside book-keeper Julie Walker’s desk. She described the apparition as a tall, sorrowful male presence. After repeated incidents of unexplained noises, the firm’s owner invited the Rev Greg Forster of St Wilfrid’s Church to perform prayers intended to bring peace to the building.
