Thornbridge Hall, Ashford-in-the Water

Outside the gates of Thornbridge Hall near Ashford-in-the-Water, a haunting is said to occur along the lane where a ghostly lady is reputed to appear. During a video shoot in poor weather, investigator Sid Fletcher captured unexplained shadowy figures moving between the gates. His wife later spotted them on playback, despite having no interest in ghosts. Research suggested a friary once stood nearby, leading some to believe the figures may have been spectral monks travelling toward an old burial ground.
