Furness Vale

Furness Vale is a village in the Goyt Valley between Whaley Bridge and New Mills, developed primarily during the canal and railway period as part of the industrial corridor running through the valley. It is a small settlement whose character was shaped almost entirely by the transport infrastructure that passed through it.
