This historic hall, long associated with the Arden family, retains many of its original oak-panelled rooms and antique features, including a finely carved mantle once hidden beneath plaster. It is reportedly haunted by a ghostly bride, said to have emerged from the panelling and walked silently through the upper rooms. One witness, a caretaker in the 1930s, claimed she passed through his bedroom and vanished near the stair. A young girl has also been sensed watching from an upper window, possibly waiting for someone long gone. The building now houses a NatWest Bank, though its eerie atmosphere persists.
