Bramhall

Bramhall is a residential suburb in the south of Stockport borough, dominated by its hall, a timber-framed manor house with origins in the medieval period. The hall is now managed as a museum by Stockport Council, but it spent several centuries as a private residence and has accumulated a haunting tradition across that long occupancy.
