Heaton Chapel

Heaton Chapel is one of the Heaton townships strung along the ridge between Stockport and Manchester, developed as a suburban area during the Victorian period but named for an ancient chapel that once served the scattered townships before they acquired their own parish churches. A handful of older buildings survive from before its suburban expansion.
